This Privacy Policy explains how TalkSilo ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and AI chatbot service (the "Service").

Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email, and password (stored hashed) when you sign up.
  • Configuration data: the business details and settings you provide for your chatbot.
  • Conversation data: messages exchanged between your website visitors and the AI assistant.
  • Visitor data: a randomly generated visitor ID, optional name/email a visitor provides, page URL, and approximate country.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor, Paddle. We do not store your full card details.

How we use information

  • To provide and operate the chatbot Service.
  • To generate AI responses using your configuration as context.
  • To show you analytics and send notifications you enable.
  • To process subscriptions and prevent abuse.

AI processing

To generate replies, conversation content is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) at the time of each message. We never expose AI provider API keys to the browser, and keys are stored encrypted.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the Service (e.g., our AI provider, payment processor, and email provider), and where required by law.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption of sensitive keys, strict tenant data isolation, and domain whitelisting for widgets.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your account data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes associated configuration and conversation data.
